The Consumer Code

Rose Homes are part of The Consumer Code for Home Builders which gives protection and rights to purchasers of new homes, ensuring that all new home buyers are treated fairly and are fully informed about their purchase before and after they sign the contract. All builders registered with the one of the supporting new home warranty bodies agree to comply with the Code’s requirements. The Code benefits both home buyers and home builders by aiming to improve on the already high levels of customer satisfaction and therefore enhancing the reputation of the industry.
The Code applies to all homebuyers who reserve to buy a new or newly converted home built by a home builder registered with one of the supporting warranty bodies.

The Code is to ensure that home buyers:

•Are treated fairly
•Know what service levels to expect
•Are given reliable information upon which to make their decisions
•Know how to access speedy, low cost dispute resolution arrangements if they are dissatisfied.
All purchasers are given a copy of the latest Consumer Code for Homebuilders during the Reservation Meeting. For further information on the Consumer Code please visit the Consumer Code Website https://consumercode.co.uk/
Buildmark Warranty
You can rely on Rose Homes to deliver a high-quality new home, but for added reassurance, all of our new Rose Homes come with a 10 Year Buildmark Warranty.
The Warranty
Each new Rose Home that is sold with the Buildmark Warranty Cover means that one of the Buildmark Technical experts have checked and passed the property at key stages during the build, from foundations to final completion. So even before you are handed the keys, we will have done our very best to make sure your new home has been built to a high standard and ready for your to move into.
The 10-year warranty means that the cost of fixing any potential damage caused by faults in specified parts of the home is covered.
During the first two years, you also have the added reassurance that if something goes wrong and it is caused by Rose Homes’ failure to build to the warranty standards then Rose Homes will make sure it’s put right. During years 3-10 the Buildmark Warranty provider provides the insurance to cover the cost of putting right any physical damage to the home under the Warranty.
